Our methodology

Driven by methodology,
delivered with precision.

Our methodology is the constant between engagements. The work is never dependent on a single person, and the outcomes stay predictable.

The essence of our methodology

Standardised, structured and systematic.

With playbooks, milestones and accountability, you get the same experience every time. One standard for every assignment, whether we're delivering volume hiring or an interim HRBP to your team. The methodology is always the same, so you always know what to expect.

01 Domain specialists

Spitze consultants are always specialists within their field. Every assignment is matched to a consultant who knows the landscape, the regulatory context and the language of the industry. Our consultants are supported by our internal delivery team, who quality-assure both the process and the result.

02 A process you can plan around

Weekly updates, milestones agreed and defined in advance, a planned handover, documentation and peace of mind. You get a process you can plan your time around, and you don't have to project-manage your recruiter.

03 A consistent approach

Our method is the foundation of our work and the guarantee that you get the same strong result every time. With structured playbooks, clear milestones and a fixed communication cadence, you're buying a system — not just a recruitment.

What Spitze does differently

The challenges we have observed

It's our conviction that regulated industries are underserved by the recruitment market. Results are unpredictable, and the focus is on speed and flexibility rather than structure, documentation and diligence.

Quality depends on the individual recruiter
+
At many agencies, you get whichever consultant happens to pick up the phone. Or you meet a senior consultant at the sales meeting, but the rest of the time your point of contact is a junior researcher.
An agency you have to project manage
+
You hear from your recruiter only sporadically, CVs trickle in a few at a time, and you can't plan your time effectively because you never know when you'll suddenly have to hold interviews. And now your contact person is on holiday — so who do you reach out to? And will your process be delayed?
You're promised a big database
+
But the truth is that 90% are people who were unemployed three years ago and uploaded their CV. They aren't actively maintained, the contact details aren't up to date, and your next candidate or consultant ends up being headhunted through LinkedIn anyway.
A framework agreement that sits unused
+
Your HR or procurement department has spent time, energy and money negotiating a good deal with a handful of agencies. And you still end up with an unclear process every time — one that eventually turns into an agreement gathering dust in a drawer.
Conveniently supply empowered infrastructures whereas client-centered sources. Synergistically exploit high-quality quality vectors for excellent scenarios. Uniquely reinvent intermandated imperatives with unique partnerships. Proactively engage client-focused.

Spitze's model as the solution

The shortcomings and limitations of the recruitment market are the reason Spitze exists. Our mission is to offer regulated businesses a recruitment and people partner that reflects the same seriousness, thoroughness and quality as they hold themselves to.

A domain specialist, every time
+
We work with freelance domain experts. That way you'll always get someone who fits your specific context, since we're not limited by internal capacity.
A predictable cadence
+
One internal point of contact from Spitze's delivery team, weekly updates, milestones agreed in advance, documentation in order and peace of mind. For larger projects, we also hold steering meetings and provide weekly KPI reporting.
Quality and governance on enterprise level
+
We know our consultants well and they're thoroughly integrated into our delivery model: playbooks, milestones, a fixed communication cadence and one point of contact. The core of our model is simple: domain expertise at freelance level, backed by governance at enterprise level.
Ready for procurement
+
Transparent pricing, standardised services and documentation designed for vendor qualification and framework agreements.

"What stands out about working with Spitze isn't any single hire — it's that the delivery experience and output is identical regardless of who's on the engagement."

Questions about our methodology?

We think method is genuinely fascinating, and we could write pages upon pages about it. But we also know it can be a little overwhelming to work out what it actually means for you and your situation. So we'd of course prefer to have a chat — but otherwise, you might also find some answers below.

How are you different from other recruitment agencies or consultancies?

There are many small nuances that together make Spitze different from most other agencies and consultancies. But there are also two big, overarching differences:

1. You always get a domain specialist. Because we work with freelance consultants, we're not limited by internal capacity or by whether the right recruiter or consultant happens to be sitting ready on the bench.

2. You always get the same experience. Even though we work with independent consultants, they're also deeply integrated into Spitze's model when they work for our clients. That means they work by our playbooks, have to meet our milestones and communicate to our cadence — and are supported by our internal delivery team. It might sound as if we're constraining them — but our method is the framework for the client relationship. And the consultants' own method and expertise are the result. That way, you get the best of both worlds.

What does it mean that you have an internal delivery team?

Our internal delivery team is responsible for finding new consultants for our network, nurturing the relationship with the ones we already have, allocating and matching consultants to our clients, onboarding the consultants into our method, quality-assuring every recruitment process, and supporting consultants along the way on an assignment if they need sparring or similar. In other words, they never carry out the assignments themselves.

You put a lot of emphasis on structure and milestones — but what about flexibility and speed?

It's quite deliberate that we don't market ourselves on flexibility and speed. It's not because we don't meet our clients' specific needs or because we work slowly. On the contrary — we believe that regulated industries need flexibility with control.

That means we don't compromise on our structure and method, but instead deliver the right solution for the right challenge. So if you need a highly specialised employee within a niche area as quickly as possible, we won't just say yes to win the assignment— but propose instead that we find you an interim solution, so we have the time and framework to find the right, long-term solution.

Our situation is quite complex — how can a standardised process be the solution?

To us, standardisation isn't the opposite of complexity. On the contrary, it's how we make complexity manageable and the result repeatable. In regulated industries, assignments are rarely simple, yet the requirements for documentation, compliance and governance remain. Spitze is the model that absorbs the complexity and makes it operational — through standardised solutions.

How can you have only one method when you offer several different services?

Having one method doesn't mean every assignment is treated the same way. Naturally, the process for, say, a recruitment assignment and an interim assignment differs. But our method means that every assignment is qualified with the same discipline: needs → context → risks → scope → competency requirements → match → onboarding → delivery → follow-up.
